- AMD 5950X, Nvidia 4080 , 64 GB Ram, Windos 10 pro
Please fix this. Thanks.
Please fix this. Thanks.
There is an issue that the devs are looking into with the MPV player not working in certain situations.
Current recommendation is to uninstall and then reinstall the latest Studio Drivers for your GPU, without the Nvidia GeForce Experience add-on, and a clean install of the app.
This has worked in some situations at this time.
Already tested. Doesnt work.
I have same issue … any 6.0.* version has black screen video for hafl of the video preview…
or video is out of sync for exports with first 2–30 seconds being black screen and audio out of sync.
Version 5.3.6 works as expected. This happens on preview exports and regular exports.
13th Gen Intel(R) Core™ i9-13900K 3.00 GHz
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER
96GB of RAM
Windows 11 Pro (64 bit) 23H2
I have already uninstalled and reinstalled and even reinstalled clean intsall of nvidia video studio drivers. The same issue persists for any 6.0.* version.
I have the same issue (black preview screen) and have tried uninstalling and reinstalling nvidia drivers and VEAI. I’ve been through two updates since November with still no fix, then have to reinstall 5.3.6. Is there a workaround? Others aren’t having this issue. I have RTX 3090. What is causing this???
Since November same issue here, no solution, same help email every time (make new install, Studiodriver and so on) Thats not the solution!!!
My Sytsem: AMD 5950 and RTX 4080. All other sofware works fine. Thats a Topas AI Problem. Build in Videoplayer broken?
Yes, it appears to be a built in video player issue. But they don’t understand how to fix it.
disabling FXAA in NVidia control panel (program settings) should resolve it → Video AI won't show video preview after updating to 5.4 - #24 by hairy.biscuit
Perfekt, disabling FXAA fixed the problem. Many thanks for your help!
Thank you! Finally solved.
@kyle.topazlabs If it is possible to disable FXAA at TVAI start, this would be a final solution for everyone and by leaving TVAI, generell FXAA nvidia panel setting can take effect again
10B. FAST APPROXIMATE ANTIALIASING (FXAA)
Fast approximate antialiasing is an antialiasing mode supported by the NVIDIA
graphics driver that offers advantages over traditional multisampling and
supersampling methods. This mode is incompatible with UBB, triple buffering,
and other antialiasing methods. To enable this mode, run:nvidia-settings --assign FXAA=1
nvidia-settings will automatically disable incompatible features when this
command is run. Users may wish to disable use of FXAA for individual
applications when FXAA is globally enabled. This can be done by setting the
environment variable __GL_ALLOW_FXAA_USAGE to 0. __GL_ALLOW_FXAA_USAGE has no
effect when FXAA is globally disabled.
