Automate access to Topaz no longer works in Photoshop in the last update (2.2.2)

Since the last Topaz update (version 2.2.2) there is a bug in the connection between photoshop and Photo AI. Though sending the the picture to Topaz Photo AI still works in the filters, it no longer works through Automate (necessary if you want to upscale the image, would be best if this was also available through filter though…).

Steps to reproduce issue:

  1. open picture in photoshop (I experienced with jpg)
  2. File-Automate-Topaz Photo AI
  3. Nothing happens (Photo AI does not open)

MacBook Pro M3 Max, 48GB, Sonoma 14.2.1
Photoshop 25.3.1

Please follow the steps below to reset your Photoshop plugin.

  1. Close Photoshop fully.
  2. Run the Topaz Photo AI installer again. Get a new one from the downloads page: Topaz Labs Downloads
  3. Open Photoshop and check the File > Automate plugin again.

Let me know if those steps get it working again.
