Apply button doesn't appear when setting video in/out points to trim

Just attempted to use the video in/out features to trim a segment out of a longer video. After setting the endpoints, the ‘Apply’ button does not appear. There doesn’t appear to be any difference in this behavior whether selecting the endpoints from the Edit menu or using keyboard shortcuts.

Only when I also select crop does the ‘Apply’ button appear. But even using this workaround, the processing still doesn’t trim the output video - it outputs the trimmed section, but leaves “empty space” for the remainder of the original duration.

Topaz Video for Mac v4.2.0 on Mac Studio w/MacOS Sonoma 14.2.1

There is no apply button for using in and out points. The export should only render out the selected portion of the clip from the in and out points.

The apply button from the crop, is to apply the crop selection to the video.

Would you be able to upload the apps logs files and the exported video with the extra empty space to my dropbox so we can take a look and see what may be going on?
