I have always edited my photos taken with the Olympus OM-1 by uploading to Apple photos directly from the SD card to Apple photos. I edit there and then use the Topaz Photo AI add on to sharpen and remove noise. This has worked successfully for me until now.
I have purchased the OM1 MkII. I now cannot load photos into Apple photos they show as blank photos but can still be seen as thumbnails on the SDcard BUT with a Topaz AI symbol.
Olympus are saying that Apple need to do an update. Apple say that they should load. My question is why should Topaz AI be the software opening the photo when I click on the picture on the SD Card and can I turn this off? I think that this may be at the root of the issues that I am facing. I’m tempted to remove Topaz AIO and see if that works but would like to get your thoughts.
