  1. TVAI reports an error shortly after processing starts with NTSC interlaced ProRes LT files.

    I looked for support, but support site all appears to be documents and no real help, and no chat.

We are seeing more compatibility issues with the input files in v7, our team is aware of this issue and I’ve added your logs for our team to look into.

For now, can you try converting your input using Handbrake and then try importing the converted version back into Video AI for processing?

  1. Drag and drop your video to import it
  2. I recommend going to the “dimensions” tab and under “resolution limit” > none
  3. I also recommend going to the “video” tab and under “framerate (FPS)” > Same as source
  4. Then click “start”

This will ensure that it retains the original resolution and frame rate with the converted file.

I decided to convert to a Grass Valley HQ avi file to ensure lossless input. That does work.
