3.2.3 Proteus is now down from 27 fps to 10 fps on my system

v3.2.2 was giving me typically 26.5-27.1 fps in Proteus 1080p 1x
Now the speed is down to 10 fps.

Although the integrated benchmark doesn’t reflect this:

For me also considerable speed losses with GAIA. More than 60%!

@kingdom-3809 & @o.kerner Can you confirm that you were working with the exact same file and the same settings?

The same video file. However, I am now back at version 3.2.2. My guess is that it is due to the dual GPU configuration. I have 2x 3080 Ti. Maybe in 3.2.3. only one GPU is used in general.

When you have the time, could you share logs?

For me it was kinda false alarm.
It appears that my default preset has been altered (by itself) and the ususal Artemis filter had been replaced by Proteus.
After recreating the preset with Artemis, speed is back to the ususal 27 fps.

It’s kinda weird behaviour. After loading a preset, any change to the filter chain causes the text “Modified” to appear behind the preset name.
But this “modified” stays indefinitely – even if I load the preset anew after an app restart.
So it appears that presets are getting overwritten without explicit instruction to do so.

o.Kerner has the decisive tip: I created new presets and now everything is back to the usual speed.

This is a new feature to show if the preset applied is different from the current settings

You can just choose the apply preset option from the edit menu to apply your unmodified preset

It doesn’t work as described.
The (Modified) suffix is always shown, even after I “apply” my preset.
And “applying” shouldn’t be necessary at all, if the app just had a fresh start. With the only actions performed were 1) adding a video file and subsequently 2) selecting a preset.
No options in the filter chain were changed manually.

Thank you! We are looking into this and working to clean up these custom filter issues.
