Worth Paying Monthly for Topaz Video?

Dear Topaz Team and fellow Topaz users,

I wanted to ask whether you think it’s worth subscribing to the monthly plan for Topaz Video. I purchased Topaz Video up to version 7, and I’ve mainly been using Proteus 3, Proteus 4, and Rhea to enhance anime.

From my personal experience, it feels like the development focus has shifted more toward improving real-life footage and human subjects, while anime enhancement hasn’t received the same level of attention. Because of that, I’m unsure whether upgrading to the latest version through a monthly subscription would be worthwhile.

For those who have upgraded, have you noticed any significant improvements for anime upscaling and restoration, or do the newer versions mainly benefit live-action content?

I’d really appreciate hearing your experiences and opinions. Thanks!

Each workflow has its own variables that can be helped with some of the newer models and tools in the app, but to be fair if your current workflow utilizes those models in Video AI 7, you are more than welcome to stay with that release and not update.

However, in Topaz Video, there is a new Gaia 2 model that has helped some users with their anime and cartoon content.

Tysm for your reply and honest. Is their a way to get like one month trial?

We no longer have trials but you can sign up for the month-to-month subscription plan and if you do not like it, you can cancel at anytime and it wont renew.
