As Davinci Resolve, Gigapixel and Photo Ai should use the cache processing when exporting.
I’m experimenting with complex photo processing with false focus.
Gigapixel does a great job.
Although only the faces are processed instead of processing the image by plane (foreground, middle ground and background).
Edit - I put this here for feedback : I’ve also tested with Photo AI and the automatic sharping and face analysis don’t deal with focus blur in the same way. Gigapixel will improve faces better and Photo AI will improve the face and foreground but not as effectively as Gigapixel.
I use the latest versions.
It’s becoming pointless, even obsolete, to let Gigapixel process the photo when the rendering has already been done. A cache management system needs to be put in place to exploit the rendering when exporting.
20 min for rendering plus 20 min for export is far too long! Whatever the computing power of the computer, reanalysing the same photo twice with the same parameters should never happen in 2024.
