What’s the workflow on a Mac for SLM ?
I just got a M4 Mini Pro, 24GB unified memory 12-core cpu 16-core gpu etc. but apparently Starlight Mini will not run on the hardware (v 1.1.0 latest) !
Is there a version that runs Starlight Mini on my M4 Pro setup?
I am a founder, so I have access to the 7.x app.
Unfortunately you are too low on RAM for the (actual) minimum requirements on AppleSilicon.
Maybe you could try with a beta as those sometimes didn’t do a as thorough hardware check as the release versions.
But then atm Starlight doesn’t work AT ALL on the Mac under 26.2 regardless of specs so, unfortunately, SL is a lost case on AppleSilicon at least for the time being.
Darn, I bought the M4 Mac Mini a few weeks ago, not for video, but with a hope of it taking at least some of the burden off my PC with its 5090.
Looks like Topaz won’t run SLM, even with a beta like 7.0.0.1.b which also failed the hardware check.
Maybe the M4 can run ComfyUI with Seed vr2..? Some other new models coming out now with lesser requirements too.
