Will the Topaz suite work under a Type 1 hypervisor

https://community.topazlabs.com/t/black-screen/43662 includes a statement that the Topaz suite generally (always) will not work for MS Windows running under a Type 2 hypervisor. Will it work under a Type 1 (“bare iron”) hypervisor?

You would have to test it as no Virtual Machine installations are supported.

If the Topaz software engineers do not design/implement the Topaz suite to work with supervisors (“operating systems”) that are under hypervisors, particularly Type 1 hypervisors (although I would prefer both Type 1 and Type 2), then Topaz will rapidly become obsolete or unusable in many professional environments, particularly those that rely upon virtual machines supplied over the Internet (eg, compute provisioning) by large (virtual) infrastructure suppliers. Hypervisor enabling instructions were introduced in the X86-64 instruction set architecture a “long time ago” and only will increase in the future. Designing the best application for the systems of a decade past will not suffice for a decade in the future. Topaz management, are you listening?
