- The software comes up with some recommended values for processing the image based on the initial scan. These are indicated by a circular blob next to the model and setting. On Photo AI, the slider shows the recommended values with a blob and double clicking automatically sets the value to the recommended value. On Photo this doesn’t happen anymore and you have to scroll the slider up and down to find out the recommended value.
- If you have zoomed to fit and select a tool (say to select faces), an additional bar appears at the top of the image, pushing the image down so it is no longer fully displayed. You then have to select zoom to fit to get the image fully displayed. Clearly a bug.
- Dust and Scratch v2 still has significant problems with lamp-posts being partially removed. And it really doesn’t like flowers.
- It is illogical to move the single screen/split screen, etc. icons to the top of the screen and keep the zoom button at the bottom. The previous arrangement where they were all along the bottom bar is much more intuitive. Also most software design standards say that the completion button should be bottom or bottom right on the screen. It was but you have now moved it to top right.
- Not having the tool controls pop-out to the left of the side-bar navigation panel means that the sliders are much smaller and harder to control.
- I hate the new interface. You have more steps to do anything, the image scrolling up when you select a tool is unnecessary. I can’t see a single benefit from the new interface. What you had worked, this doesn’t
I continue to use Photo AI for all of the above reasons unless there is some new tool in Photo that I need. Very disappointed.
