Question:
TVAI v3.4.3 was released yesterday, but I see there is v3.4.4 available for download on Topaz S3 Bucket (AWS) as well.
Also when I install it, it shows on the program top banner v3.4.4, so I assume it is indeed v3.4.4
Could anyone explain what is version 3.4.4 and how is it different to v3.4.3?
P.S. the same I noticed with Photo AI. the released version is v1.5.4, but there is v1.5.5 available for download as well.
These are the Beta versions and you should not post it in the open forum.
You will confuse the people when you post unready versions of the software.
@TPX those are not Beta builds, they have no beta functions in them.
also Beta builds have different naming convention (and different D/L links) and a Beta logo in the app… this is a release build.
Whatever they are they’re clearly not official, and posting unauthorised links to unreleased software is not acceptable.

we need to make them aware not to post those and make them available to the public.
I did not post anything unauthorized, I posted a publicly available link.
also I ran a CRC checksum both on v3.4.3 and v3.4.4 and they are identical, so there is a mistake here. we need to flag it to Topaz to mitigate it.
@Akila @PaulM Hello, just wanted to offer some clarification here:
The builds that you see available that are one version number above the current release are ‘dummy’ builds used by our team to test the in-app updater. These builds are not meant to be used by the public, but they are functionally identical to the current release and are not harmful in any way.
Overall I’d recommend not using these since you may end up not receiving future updates automatically through the in-app updater.
