Anybody know what to do with a WMV file that shows up in mediainfo as 15fps but is actually variable: around 23.970-24. Thats what Potplayer shows when playing back. And yeah it way more fluent than 15fps.
In TVEAI it loads as 1000fps??!!
Premiere also identifies it as 15 and playback is choppy compared to Potplayer.
What I tried is to open it in RIFE/Flowframes and there is shows no fps identified. So I manually put in 24 and did x4 (it shows 0.2% dupes so its around that fps). It interpolates the frames successfully but then cant encode it into a video somehow… get a weird error.
I tested vai with old camera videos that I have, different format and I have already seen videos that load at 1000 fps, the worst is that video processing with a model, that suddenly slows down but a passage of the video with shutter encoder which can do much more than convert videos, and it’s fixed
Have you had any other problems with WMV files? I’ve also noticed TVAI showing weird behavior with WMVs. Wondering if it’s coincidental or if the program actually does struggle with WMV.
I can’t speak specifically about WMV files in TVAI, but over the years I’ve noticed many programs having issues with WMV. I’ve tried to avoid it as much as possible.
