Hey! I am really interested. I only use Dione dv to deinterlace my 25 fps sd sources because there are no more artifacts and all the edges are straight. But the flickering it makes drives crazy … I have to double the frame rate with virtual dub and the deinterlace filter (duplicate fields and double framerate) and then import it into video enhance and apply Dione dv. By doing this I don’t have any more flicker but the frequency is 100 fps instead of 50 fps haha. With editing software we can play it at 50 fps but because of the virtual dub filter, there is a slight shake in the image. (I think it’s shifted by one line, every other frame). We can rectify that with a slight stabilization. But applying my method is still very long. My question is: with the method that you shared, works like this with a soft interlaced or should it be de-interlaced before? Because the best one apart from VEAI is vegas pro. But the problem is that there are artefacts left, edges that oscillate a bit and therefore force the settings to be pushed a little too hard with neatvideo, which loses details. Whereas Dione dv and dione TV deinterlace really well, with no wobbly edges, which allows neatvideo to be tuned to perfection. Looking forward to your response … Thank you very much
