In version 1.3.8 and 1.5.2 Gaia CG I get Acid Rain effect.
A Pattern of Bleached spots across surface and following the orientation of objects.
The second unresolved issue is the ability to disable face recognition features.
Topaz doesn’t identify the millions of objects in photos, and still manages to create good detail naturally. All you are doing by trying to identify low resolution/quality faces is adding noise and distortion.
All our footage is low resolution and quality.
The Gaia CG is better, because I can control the level and extent of noise after tiff render.
I would not like to see this program further automated, and lose the current Gaia CG profile.
Gaia HQ adds unnecessary noise in our low quality footage, which it was not made for.
Fidelity has a slight edge on “Detail setting” for low quality footage, and reduced face distortion.
Gaia CG x2 is by far the best setting for our low resolution footage.
Up for discussion,
