Video AI getting output frame rate wrong in UI display

I’m importing a DVD video with a standard film framerate (23.976) which I checked using MediaInfo:
Unique ID : 102117312382165440077666118932387026104 (0x4CD31437C0A47C874CE3893EB82B54B8)
Complete name : F:\Temp\MainMovie\Deinterlace\S01E01-The Scarlet Pimpernel.mkv
Format : Matroska
Format version : Version 2
File size : 3.26 GiB
Duration : 1 h 33 min
Overall bit rate mode : Variable
Overall bit rate : 4 985 kb/s
Frame rate : 23.976 FPS
Encoded date : 2025-10-06 12:45:16 UTC
Writing application : MakeMKV v1.17.7 win(x64-release)
Writing library : libmakemkv v1.17.7 (1.3.10/1.5.2) win(x64-release)

VideoAI is setting the output framerate to 30fps. I don’t want to change the framerate and previous of versions of the legacy product didn’t have this problem

Mark the video as telecined in the input options (the cog icon at the top of the main interface). This should tell the program to ignore the video’s soft telecine flag.

Turns out its just a bug in the UI as the output video was at the correct frame rate.

The devs should check into this to whether the UI is reporting the higher frame rate based on a video’s soft telecine flag or some other bug.

Known issue with the UI, exported files should not be affected. Our team is aware and working on resolving.
