Video AI crashes system on export

New user. Video AI 1.0.4 is crashing my entire system whenever I try to export a video. The process starts, and then after a couple of minutes I get the following error:

“Your device ran into a problem and needs to restart. 0% Complete. Stop Code: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (0xA). What failed: ntoskrnl.exe.”

So far, I’ve tried:

  • Videos of varying length (same result for every one)

  • Several different AI models (IRIS seems to be the least problematic for me)

  • Disabling overclocking (was not enabled in the first place)

  • memtest - no issues found

  • chkdisk - no issues found

  • check/repair file system - completed successfully

  • updated NVIDIA drivers (RTX 3060ti 8 gb) - using studio drivers

  • uninstall/reinstall/update everything (TOPAZ and WIN11)

  • Re-installed OS

I’ve uploaded the system logs from the software, and a system profile. Happy to provide what else is needed.

I use several video editors successfully, and was able to use a trial version from TOPAZ with no issues.

Any help or suggestions? Thanks.

Tech support may have solved my issue! We tried rolling back drivers to an older version, running more memtests, etc. No luck. After looking at several sets of my logs, support asked if I had XMP profiles turned on in my BIOS. I had to learn what they were. Sure enough, there was a BIOS setting that was overclocking my RAM by default. I turned off that feature and since then I have had NO crashes. I’ve now run at least fifteen videos of varying lengths through several different models with NO crashes or issues. Hopefully that solved my issues!
