Do you think you are CPU limited because of the 5800x3d?
I have that feeling even on my RTX 4080 + 5800X system, but a 5950x would be the highest I am willing to go due to the extra costs of a new mobo CPU and memory for the next step up. I’m not sure that the improvement I’d get with a 5950 would be worth it though, especially if TVAI wouldn’t use all the extra cores fully.
I have a 4070 ti and I feel like it uses at least 10 of my 12 cores pretty heavy. I’ll have to double check, but I think even a 5900 would give a noticeable boost.
Double checked. Running Artemis Medium 1X on FHD uses about 80% of the CPU.

I don’t think it would be worth it. My other rig is a 3080Ti + 5950X (That rig’s benchmark is also in this thread) and from what I have seen in other people’s benchmarks, I would need to upgrade both the CPU and GPU to get a decent performance improvement.
