In the “old days,” that was definitely the case. Nowadays, especially in small tight-working dev groups, things have become less structured. I still think of 3.0.0.0.b as an alpha; they are still nailing the implementation down.
Beta generally begins when someone in charge decides they will need to wait for the next release to implement new functionality or fix some obscure glitch. Clearly, we’re not there yet.
Actually, I’m amazed they have made as many changes as they have from v2.x to v3. The old mantra was that there is nothing more sacred than running code…
they are very quick ! anyway, don’t want to give wrong hope as this thread will be closed tonight for the next “beta” release, but i just read the word tensorRT somewhere… related to models… don’t know if it will work or just in preparation, i dont’ have an RTX unfortunatly, but impatient to see what the new update of tonight will bring ;).
