Almost 6 minutes… only by upscaling 2x…
I am working with iMac and 3,6 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9
It is not workable. Please make it work faster!
Something to try, please change this setting and test it.
Edit>Preferences>AI Processor the default is “Auto” try your video card, if no improvement with that try the setting “CPU” close the program then reopen after each change for a test.
Report if this helps or not, it made a huge difference on my windows system (more modest CPU than yours). When I changed to my video card Topaz works so much faster I could hardly believe it.

Changing to my video card works for Sharpen as well for Denoise. For Ai also for both Sharpen as Denoise, but not for Upscaling. It is a little faster then it was before, but still cost me some minutes to change a photo in Upscaling.

Thats a shame, your system should not be the issue. Hopefully the Topaz team can get this figured out. You are not alone. Its weird how some installs are good and some not.
