Updating Changes to an Effect

I was playing with Detail in Studio and saved an effect. I made a change to my effect. I wanted to update my old effect with the new settings, but I couldn’t find a way to do this.

Is there a way to update a saved effect with new settings?

Just save the effect with the same name and then delete the old one as it won’t overwrite settings with the same name just add another with the same name.

I do the same as Don because I found it will not overwrite the previous preset name. But I rename the newer preset the same but add the number 2 to ID it from the first one.

Thanks for the help guys!

So I guess that I will resave my modified effects. A little bit of a hassle since I will have to retype the effect description and reselect the tags, but at least it is doable.

Overwriting would be a better option when you have an effect description, maybe one day Topaz will correct this?
