Ubuntu 3.2.5.0 no h265 or mkv?

Not sure if there’s an explanation around here about the Ubuntu version. I’ve been meaning to try it for a while. Had to redo the video bod so now’s a good time. Using 3.2.5.0 because it’s the newest linux beta version I “own”. Seems to work better than I expected (so far) but I’m not sure why I have limited output selections, not sure if this needs other packages installed or what.

Right now I don’t have h264 or h265 encoders available. I only have mp4 and webm containers. I like to use h265 and mkv. Any ideas what I’m missing?

same thing on my end.
I’m on 21.2

You can actually enable some of the encoders on 3.2.5 by editing the json file.

Topaz added the encoders in Linux in the 3.5.3 beta so you’re best off just running that.
