Is it possible to install two different versions of Video AI on the same computer?
I don’t want to give up the version that I can efficiently use. But would be curious to try out new features of more recent versions.
Yes. You can have 2 or more versions. Just change the name of TVAI application to let’s say “Topaz Video AI 5…3” or whatever you want to name the old version, then install the new version. Now you will have two or as many as you want. I am talking about Mac, as it is easier to rename and install the next version.
The new version of the app will overwrite the older version as they use the same file structure when installing. As smdow mentioned on a mac you can change the name but this does mean you will have to download all of the model files again which can take up space if you have a small hard drive.
You can always roll back and reinstall the previous version though if you do not like the newer version.
