That’s true. That is what it is.

Well, there is always that. And trends in culture change, on either side of the world. To be fair, though. Its much easier to apply blur filter later than it is to recover skin details. I wish we could make that choice with Nyx. And than we can choose which cultural norms we want, rather than a filter by default. It is true that sometimes and for some reasons you want a particular look, but it should be a tool that helps the creator, not limit it. Wouldn’t you agree?

Of course. An image enhancement should always be as true to the original as possible.

Otherwise it’s more like a creative filter - but as you can see with the Iris V1 vs. V2 discussion some people obviously prefer having more details even if it’s just artificially created and not what the original would’ve looked like if it was at higher res.

I wasn’t advocating in neither direction with the above post; just stating things that I noticed.
