Trouble importing EXR sequence (automatically converts to 16-bit Tiffs)

I can’t import an EXR sequence without Topaz automatically converting to 16-bit Tiffs. It’s an issue as it’s clipping the highlights in the footage and wondering if there’s a way to use EXR sequence in Topaz

This is expected behavior in Video AI, the app will automatically convert EXR image sequences to 16-bit TIFF sRGB internally for model processing.

Thanks for verifying this is expected. Would using Topaz as a plugin for AE or DaVinci be a workaround to apply to EXR sequences?
