It seems there is a plugin issue between Topaz Video and DaVinci Resolve 21.
This problem had already occurred with the release of version 20, and Topaz had issued an update to fix it.
Have you heard of the same issue with version 21?

Can you clarify what issue you are seeing within Resolve 21 with the plugin? Which model are you trying to run?
Da Vinci stops a few seconds after launching; Blackmagic support suspects this happens during a call to the “Topaz Video AI” plugin.
I would point out that the same issue occurred previously with version 20, and a plugin update was released to resolve it.
After you updated to Resolve 21, did you reinstall the plug-in or bring it over from the previous version?
Looking into this now on our end.
To get Resolve version 21 running, I had to completely delete the C:\Program Files\Common Files\OFX\Plugins directory.
Note that even version 20, which had worked previously, stopped working.
Topaz Video AI works, but I haven’t tried reloading the OFX plugins.
Do you have any idea what the problem might be?
