Topaz Video quit unexpectedly

Quitting Topaz Video 1.6.1 using the usual Command Q keystrokes or the Menu command always generates the macOS error message stating ‘Topaz Video quit unexpectedly’. This surely has to be an app issue because it occurs on the both the desktop Mac Studio and on the laptop MacBook Air, each with a different macOS. There are no projects in the folder. All reports of this issue are closed 60 days after the last reply with no resolution. Please fix this irritating problem.

This situation is still being investigated at this time. The forum automatically closes topics after 60 days by default. It does not mean the topic itself is not still being investigated.

This goes back to late January 2025 when I contributed to a thread about the issue. It is still being investigated just over 18 months later?

Yes, there have been versions released that had it resolved but the issue has come back in follow up releases.
