Issue Summary for Mac v1.61
-
When exporting old footage with the audio stream set to “Copy”, the output file ends up with no audio. This never occurs in Topaz Video AI—even for incompatible audio formats, the program automatically transcodes audio to baseline AAC to guarantee audible output.
-
The Confirm button for aspect ratio cropping only becomes visible when the app is in fullscreen mode; it gets cut off and hidden in windowed view. By contrast, Topaz Video AI keeps this Confirm button accessible regardless of window size.
-
The sidebar tool layout feels cramped and poorly organized compared to Topaz Video AI. Adjusting layered model parameters vertically is cumbersome, while Topaz Video AI features a far more intuitive layout for this workflow.
-
Mac v1.61 pulls the batch video queue shared from older Topaz Video AI builds. However, clearing all clips in the older version also erases the queue for v1.61 upon relaunch. If the software is designed to auto-load batch lists by default, it should generate a separate, independent video queue for this new version instead of sharing one across builds.
-
The new version suffers from frequent crashes and lacks stability.
