Topaz Video Founding Customer – $149 Annual Subscription Price Lock (Next renew on June/2026)

Will the $149 annual founding customer rate remain locked in for the future as long as I keep the subscription active?

This isn’t from someone Official but I can certainly tell you if you have “FOUNDING CUSTOMER” next to your name within your Topaz Account and your Subscriptions says Active in green then, your renewal Subscription will remain the same at the same price.

I know this because, my Subscription has already renewed at the same price

Here’s part of the official email sent out by the Topaz CEO Eric Yang, on Sept 4, 2025

Ignore the fact it says “As long as you maintain 2+ active upgrade licences:” that part of the email is referring to myself as I have Two Active Licenses:

As a founding customer, you can expect the following:

  • Your perpetual licenses remains yours forever.

  • As long as you maintain 2+ active upgrade licenses:

    • You’ll receive Topaz Studio at no additional cost - including 4 new products, unlimited cloud processing for image (non-batch), and video credits.

    • You get grandfathered local access to the Starlight models (for video) and the new Wonder AI model (for image).

    • Your prices are locked in as long as your plan remains active.

By keeping your existing upgrade licenses, you get more features for 50-70% less than new customers after Sept 16, 2025.

​Thank you so much for the detailed reply and for sharing that excerpt from the CEO’s email! It’s very reassuring to hear that your subscription has already successfully renewed at that same locked-in rate.
​I do see the “Founding Customer” status in my account, so that gives me a bit more peace of mind. However, since I haven’t heard back from the help desk yet, I’m still hoping someone from the official Topaz team can chime in here just to provide a final confirmation for my specific account.

I can officially let you know that you have the founder badge, and that the price is locked at 149$ for as long as you keep the subscription :slight_smile:
