I keep seeing that Topaz Video is storing it’s previews, thumbnails, and temp info in my OneDrive Documents directory. The data is under a Topaz Video Projects directory, right under the Documents folder. This directory is not set in preferences at all.
I’ve tried deleting the Topaz Video installation, re-installed completely, set the Workspaces folder to outside of OneDrive, and when I run the first file through Video, it sees that the folder it wants under the OneDrive Documents folder is not there, so it creates it itself, then goes ahead and starts using it.
How can I get Topaz Video to just use the system storage, and stay out of OneDrive?
You should be able to set the workspaces folder to another location outside of the OneDrive location on your system and have the temp files and everything stay within that Project file.
OneDrive does have a bad habit of confiscating any folder set within the documents folder though and trying to back it up.
If you are unable to do this, can you pull the logs from the app and send to the support team so we can look into it? help@topazlabs.com
