I have tried the latest version 6.0.0.
Apparently the variable frame rate bug is still present in 2 models
I performed a test without any processing (flat) I got the file (tvai) with constant frame rate so it is ok.
Then I tested all other models and the framerate results variable only for Proteus and Artemis models.
The problem occurs only with these two models, for other models the framerate is constant (23.976 FPS) so OK.
If it helps in solving the problem, in version 4.2.2 the two models Proteus and Artemis are reproduced without any problem, you could take this version as a reference.
Also V5.3.6, it’s the last VFR free version. So the problem came with the mplayer, if this helps and Rhea model is not affected …and it seems to be MAC users dont have it.
Well, then that’s at least ONE area where the MAC version isn’t worse than the windows one
(To be fair, though, also the preview does work much better on the Mac than on windows and also you can very easily install multiple versions of the software by simply renaming the installed version and then doing a DMG install of the new one).
