I will choose FFV1 and check if the output is 10bits 422. FFV1 is lossless.
Do a small sample and check with Media Info
Maybe it’s better to encode in DNxHR right away. Then work with this file in DaVinci?
Encoding to Prores or Dnx gives you a format to work with, it’s not a magic encode to improve.
I use Topaz with proteus relative to auto with all settings at 0 except sharpen which I set to -100
I export to FFV (Modified Settings) and then pass over to Resolve.
What I have learned in resolve and other programs before this has taken me decades of testing and learning by mistakes. I suggest you watch videos by Darren Mostyn on youtube as he’s a well respected colourist here in the UK.
Once I’m happy in Resolve I then export again in FFV and use the SVT-AV1 cli encoder for my final result.
It’s a lot to take in especially as a native Russian speaker when most is in english but learning from mistakes will improve your skills.
