Just a thought, when you guys do your version numbering, maybe you could pad with a zero and make it 3.2.01, as when we get to 3.2.09, the next release should be 3.2.10. It’s somewhat confusing when you go from 3.2.9 to 3.2.10. To me, 3.2.9 seems higher than 3.2.10

Thanks

Preview for AVI (MagicYUV) sources to ProRes 422 HQ has no fixed 1-frame offset anymore, instead it switches now between sync and async during preview (Proteus, 23.976 fps for source and output).

Yay, the sharp corners are gone! Now the GUI has proper rounded corners that we have come to love and appreciate since Windows XP. (Yeah okay, my use of the word ‘we’ might be a little presumptuous.)

Playback when playing a finished preview is terrible when using an external player, at least when using old tv shows. There is no improvement.

It´s a pity, but as an Intel ARC 770 user version 3.2.1 is even worse than 3.2.0, means it crashes the application or the whole system instantly, instead of waitng a few seconds.
I tried every Intel driver there is at the moment, none of them did the trick (including the beta versions).
Does one of you have an idea? I would greatly appreciate it.

Nothing changed for me since the previous version…

For me all is clear. I see 10, not 01.

Preview button does not seem to be working for me, However there is a noticeable stability improvement on Mac. I still get severe crashes where I must reboot the computer, but I get less of them now.

During preview playback, when the play head goes back to the beginning of the clip, the pan setting is reset back to center screen.

Would like to thank members david.123 and Carlito for helping me with my issue with 3.2.0, I found a workaround with their help by downloading the models manually through web browser, it took awhile but it worked and got me back on track with my projects, this community is great, thank you!

I sent the logsforsupport to find out why I couldn’t download models through the software, they said something is causing the download to stop half way, the only way to solve/test this would be to connect to a different wifi network but unfortunately I can’t as my PC is hardwired only and don’t have another source of wifi here, if it were a laptop I would of taken it to work to test. I disabled all firewalls, anti-virus etc nothing more I could do with the network other then test it on a new one. My connect speed is pretty solid, I downloaded the models manually only taking 10-20 seconds per model without issue, I can watch 4K YouTube videos without buffering. Hopefully future updates will prevent it down the line but for now I got them.

Hi Marc070,
I’m also using A770. So far, I only found v3.1.8 with 4032 Arc drivers to be stable. Please give it a try.
If anyone can recommend other v3.X.X and Arc driver combination greatly appreciate.

Tell me, please, if I chose in the settings, to process video with a video card 100%, then why do I use 80% of the video card, and 80% of the processor? I don’t need your processing speed. I have other programs that work around the clock and use the processor at 90%. Please make sure that if I choose video card treatment, let the video card work preferably. Thanks!

Dear Foveon78 (great Photochhip by the way), thanks for the idea but I can´t use the 4032 Driver because then another program which I need urgently (name sounds like an italian painter) just won´t work (already tried), which works extremely smooth under the new drivers 4255 and 4257. So the both of us are currently stuck.
Hope there will be a new functioning version of Topaz Labs Video AI or another Intel driver. We´ll see.
But I work on experimenting. If I find a solution I will post it.

v. 3.2.1: the preview is not following the processing but being stuck most of the time until it makes a large jump forward to be stuck again. I know the team is working on it, but this ongoing preview issues are driving me crazy making work with the application a pain. processing is at 40 % now, the preview is not moving again. also the preview pause button does not react at all at this stage of the process. :eyes:

If you went to buy something in a store and the price is a penny each, do you see .1 or .01 as the price?
I get betas from other developers and they use/maintain either 2 or 3 digit at the end to avoid confusion. I, like David.123 expected the 3.2.9 would go to 3.3.0, since there was only one digit at the end. And no this versioning practice is not standard.
