What is the point of owning software if it’s a massive pain in the butt every single time I open it?
Years ago, I bought the legacy version of Topaz Video AI. It lives on one PC. No VPN. No shady activity. Just me and my desktop. Yet every single time I launch it, it hits me with the login screen. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. And without fail, it logs me out again after a day or two like clockwork.
Holy moly, you guys… this isn’t my bank account. I paid for this thing. It shouldn’t treat me like a suspected pirate on my own computer. Literally zero other programs I own do this obnoxious logout dance. Just you.
This is ridiculous levels of annoyance. I’m not “upset,” I’m just sitting here wondering why the heck my paid software feels the need to hit me with login prompts on the regular.
Stuff like this chips away at your soul one forced re-login at a time. Please fix it.
