Using Topaz Credits, Video AI users can now offload heavy processing tasks to our servers for faster processing.
Use cases:
Processing large batches of videos in parallel: There’s no limit to how many simultaneous jobs you can queue on the Cloud Rendering service, which can greatly improve your overall output of clips.
Processing long videos on low-power machines: Cloud Rendering excels when working with videos that are 30 minutes or longer, which allows us to parallelize across more GPU instances. For users on laptops with less-capable GPUs, you can sleep your machine without worrying about renders being paused or cancelled.
Info for beta testers: We are actively seeking feedback on model speed and visual consistency compared to desktop renders. To faciliate testing, we are automatically applying 1000 Topaz Credits to users who sign in to 5.5.0.1.b before the full release.
Known issues:
H.265 is the only enabled codec for initial Cloud Rendering testing. We plan to expand the list of supported codecs as we determine system stability.
Certain models may show frame count inconsistencies – this is something we’re very actively looking for sample data on.
Video inputs under 10MB are not currently supported for Cloud Rendering.
Resource initialization will take a significant amount of time during the beta release as we expand availability.
Time estimates for Cloud Rendering may not reflect the true elapsed time of exports.
Hyperion and Rhea XL are not currently enabled for Cloud Rendering.
We’re excited to work together on furthering the efficiency of Cloud Rendering, and as always we appreciate your involvement and feedback!
Oh. No… m I feel like I’m on the Xbox 360 and you’re selling skip ahead bux lol.
The allure is eventually going to be too great to resist… tell me previews are free, no ? (I don’t actually know lol) How about 2 sec preview free… let’s haggle I just need enough to see the image move lol.
We’re not currently running previews in Cloud Rendering, but we would consider it if enough users could benefit from it! Right now, we’re envisioning this system as a way to run quick previews locally and then offload the final export to the cloud service.
(For now you can run quite a lot of footage with 1000 free credits as a beta member!)
installed the beta told me i dont own the version (my updates ended on feb 2024 and for the moment wont renew it) lets me in as demo but i got 0 credits. how can i redeem them for testing?
I logged in to/activated to 5.5.0.2.b but it’s only showing the 97 credits I already had from GP…do we need to do anything special to get the 1000 bonus?
Checking on this now – we plan to push a server-side update for better overall performance over the weekend so this can likely be resolved as part of that change.
Update 1: I was able to queue an Iris export, will wait for it to finish successfully to confirm.
This may have been answered but I didn’t see it. Will this over write my version 5.4 I am currently using or can I have both installed at the same time?
