We have a new beta available for testing.

Changelog from 5.0.3

  • Fixed a bug where large file names take up all the space in export panel
  • Updated wording for Output Resolution area in Video Settings
  • Added project name to Windows title bar
  • Updated app icon for Windows (higher resolution)
  • Fixed empty time display mode in export panel
  • Added the 'hide filters' button to the Windows title bar
  • Fixed failing import of EXR/DPX conversions
  • Updated presets for old models
  • Upgraded to FFmpeg 7 + OpenVINO 2024.1

Known Issues

  • EXR/DPX Exports may lose input frame number.
  • Inconsistent ā€œPreview X framesā€ enable status.
  • Looping previews has a stutter.
  • Live preview can have frame de-sync.

Presets that previously used Chronos/Chronos Fast and Proteus v3 now use Apollo v8 and Proteus v4

Today i started TVAI 5.0.4.0b and i am not able to continue my work from yesterday.
ThereĀ“s just an empty DefaultProject.
Is there anything i am doing wrong ?!

The Export i paused canĀ“t be resumedā€¦why ?!

I also used TVAI 5.0.3 yesterday at the same time to do just stabilizing.
The unfinished Exports from yesterday in the UI are also goneā€¦whatĀ“s not a big problem because stabalizing not yet support pause/resume.

Is maybe the beta and the release version interferring somehow ?
So itĀ“s only adviced to use release or beta not both at the same time ?

Click the new ā€˜Hide Filtersā€™ button.
Then click the ā€˜Full screen previewā€™ button.
Click the ā€˜Full screen previewā€™ button again.
Defect: The hidden filters are no longer hidden.

I agree with @Imo. Set the transparency of the background of the ā€˜Not processedā€™ overlay to 100%, or give the users the ability to set the transparency.

would be nice if there was an easy way to skip to the first frame of the current time span that has preview frames available. like if we have previews from seconds 10-20, and the cursor is at 15 seconds, I can click a button and instead of going to 0 seconds, go to seconds 10. Would need to check for overlapping previews but I think doable?.. then also a button to auto-loop, so when second 20 is hit on playback, it goes back to second 10. (might be worth waiting until those related known issues are cleared though, I get that).

I paused all files and skipped the last and wanted to resume the first but that didnĀ“t worked this time.
I had to close TVAI and restart TVAI and now it resumed without any further click on resume itself.

I need something to click on to pause all cueued export tasks when i like to pause allā€¦and also something to click on to resume those all queued tasks again. This way i donĀ“t need do skip files or pause one after the other in order to pause all.

As you see here the first export is not running but itĀ“s also not possible to be paused. I thought the first export was finished so i tried to close the 1st input but it told that there are ongoing processes(great :slight_smile: )ā€¦ the 2nd export was able to resume/pauseā€¦but the first notā€¦so i close/opened TVAI to push the crash situation fix routinesā€¦what helped greatā€¦

I am really happy that TVAI implemented these nice pause/resumeā€¦many thanksā€¦
