LOL, I JUST got done installing the previous beta, wow you folks are quick! Glad to see stabilisation is getting some love!

Hopefully, once the speed is locked down, maybe the “Reduce Jittery Motion blur bug” can be squashed!

I know you have more important things, but it’s an irritation that you changed it to the correct way of listing the previews in the grid, ie: most recent one on top, then one guy complained and you put it back to most recent on the bottom… and never implemented that as sticky or a pref. So, request again, to put it back to how you had it fixed or the above… thanks.

This version still adding colour to a background face in a completely black and white movie with Artemis set to either “Low Quality” or “Strong Halo”.

Is this the preview only, or the resulting video as well?

In the resulting video as well.

Hi,
I have always the problem with my Mac Pro 2019 under Ventura with the last beta version. VAIE stop and reset the MacPro also when I have only 1 graphic card selected for the works.
It’s the only software I have with this problem (I have many software on my Mac).

I join

the log.

OK this is strange, when I finished installing this beta, everything was fine, until I ran a few jobs and while in the middle of those jobs my beta install invalidated my installation and ended up burning the topaz logo with two out of four of my finished files, I had to go back online to validate my installation!

But this never happened to me before, especially since I only work offline, anyone else experienced invalidation of the program in the middle of a job?

Looks to be a part of the AI filtering as it’s tries to match both face, and assumed colour, yet doesn’t account for greyscale videos…

The beta (never alphas) has been randomly burning the topaz logo into my videos since version 11b.

That is strange, as this is the first time it’s happened to me, I could be wrong, but I chalk it up to the state one’s registry is in, as that’s where the licence lies.

It’s the only thing I can think of at this point…

The authentication information the app receives on startup has a limited lifetime. You may occasionally need to connect to the internet to refresh it. At the moment the login tokens last for 1 month, though you aren’t required to actually login again for a longer period.

Were you using the command line or the GUI when it got invalidated on you? The GUI normally checks if it needs to reverify your information when it starts.

Thanks for the response, but what happens when you lose your internet? (I lost mine in 2008 for several years, and recently when moving into a new apt that did not have it set up for the building)

If you do not have a way for someone to validate their licence while offline, then that means they’re effectively locked out of the program.

Unfortunately I do not live in South Korea where the Internet is stable, I’m in the US where the stability is predicated on what state you’re in and the size and resources your city/town can provide.

I am usually against any program that mandates an always online environment (Not Topaz, but plenty of other games and programs do this) as it is impractical for the end user as an outage, or finances makes going online impossible!

If, however, you do provide the end user a way to validate their program, then all’s well!

Back to your question, no I only use the GUI, but here’s the thing, there was no issue when starting the program, as the first 2 out of the four videos were left unscathed, yet the last two were not, and had the topaz watermark.

And seeing as I rarely go online while working/playing games/etc it all happened while I was offline, I guess the tokens picked that time to invalidate the program. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ll add to this that my computer is ethernet to Gb fiber, so its never without internet.
The watermark just randomly happens, could be the first video in the queue or down the list a few. Its very frustrating when it does it to a video that took 24hrs to process.

Currently running some stabilising tests with the beta and general release, will upload the logs, if you want the vids, just ask as I already bloated the drop-box with my previous vids!

I have a real problem with this version constantly changing its window size. It keeps growing the longer the program is open. Currently the bottom of the gui is like a mile off the bottom of the screen and both sides are way past the sides of the screen. Clicking full size makes it fit the screen and then trying to drag the conners inward makes it shoot out ward, I bet its several feet across.

Good GOD man, that sounds infinity irritating, I hate it whenever I go to download anything the dialogue always defaults to full screen, which gets pretty frustrating, although the screen for this prog never did that to me, I can understand the frustration, I would check and see if you could force a screen size via the .INI/.cfg file; if they have that option that is…
