Is this also happening in release version too or just the beta?
If you are running on RTX 30 series can you try using the Win All version and let me know if the results are same as 2.6.4.

I tested this on this on the WinAll version (as people here reported the 308x version wouldn’t even start). And yes, I have a RTX 3080 Ti. I am nunning 2 major jobs now on v2.6.4 (lol). As soon as those are finished, I will try v3.0.12 as well. I am using 528.02 driver, btw.

If I’m using mkv as output would it be possible to skip a temp file and just write into the mkv so that a remux doesnt need to happen? It might be significant if I’m doing something like lossless encoding

Thing just is, I don’t know of a decent, near-lossless intermediate output format (aka, no NVENC) that can write to an .mkv file. So, for me, ProRes 422 HQ it still is.

nvenc can be near lossless as well
x264 can as well
honestly most formats can they’re just a tad bit harder to decode

If I want lossless I just go with TIF, BMP or 16 bit PNG image sequences… although we’re looking at some serious GB!
