I think it’s a shame that some people here react in an insulting way.
I have a real problem with Topaz, which I have described factually. If that doesn’t make sense, you can still remain friendly or simply say nothing.
I’m seriously looking for solutions and don’t want to annoy or provoke anyone.

TopazVideoAI6 always exports the video twice, even if you only specify an AI model and nothing else, it is exported twice
What is the problem, how can I fix it so that each video clip is only exported once?
My videos are on the NAS as source and on the NAS as destination.

My export takes forever and much longer than when I started the export.
For example, if the export takes 1 hour, then it saves forever and much longer and always makes the 2x export passes, how can I fix this?
It always makes 1x export pass and is much faster when saving?

I expect that where we’ll eventually end up is the app coming with a diffusion-based model (not necessarily Starlight) that runs locally but very, very slowly even with high end HW, and the ability to run the same model faster on the cloud for points. IOW, the same way cloud rendering with previous models works now.

I’m really curious about the design improvements in the rtx 5000 series. I’ve seen matrix improvements in nvidia technical pdf ( nvidia-rtx-blackwell-gpu-architecture.pdf , can performance improvements be made through with these? nvidia says FP4 support can improve performance x2
Topaz video ai 6.2 causes DaVinci Resolve to no load on my Windows 11 system. I uninstalled Video AI and reloaded version 6.1.3. Now it doesn’t effect Resolve.
Please fix.
Search the folder called “Plugins” in the path “C:\Program Files\Common Files\OFX” and rename the folder to “OFX Davinci ”. I can now run Resolve 20.0 Beta with no issues With Topaz video ai 6.2

Does anyone have an advice on how to handle color space for DVD ripped videos? I rip with Handbrake (so they’re progressive ready - altho same happens if I feed interlaced directly to Veai), but when previewing in VEIA it’s always the red hue that keeps shifting, I of course tackle the override color and set it to rec709 in settings, but sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t… I noticed the hue shift when I switch from “Original Pixel Ratio” to “Square Pixel” (for 4K render) the opposite happens when I set it to 1080p back to Original Pixel.
When I DO finally get it to work after back and forth (and opening/closing the app a few times), there’s something else I notice: the Upscaled renders are Slightly darker than the Source, as if there’s a brightness dim on it (I tried toggling the Full/Limited options in color space but that doesn’t do anything).
So, I’d appreciate if anyone has a good advice on how to handle DVD source material, I appreciate it! (although this color Red shift also happens with other formats too: 720p, internet progressive videos, etc). Thanks!
May I ask why you use handbrake? My pathway is (1) 1:1 read out, gives MPEG-2 (2) deinterlace bottom or top, (3) resize/crop (4:3 PAL 720x576 to 768x576, 16:9 720x576 to 864x486) export FFV1 or AVI and (4) TVAI upscale

I use it because it’s a friendlier UI interface which does all the things you described and has lots of settings. It decombs and applies the proper resizing of the video. I do export as h264 as usually it’s the most compatible format? even BluRays use it too. Maybe with other format is more accurate?
But even if I feed the .vob directly to TVAI, the color shift happens until I tackle the color space checkbox. But then again, I notice a slight darkening on the brightness of the footage.
Do what /u/dabbechmoheiddine said; I had the same issue, and after following his advice, Resolve works perfectly.
Well, I know everyone has their own workflow, but I wonder why you go through so many steps. I often export DVD directly to MKV preserving the MPEG video stream, as I want to avoid any video processing before upscaling. My main problem with Topaz is that, after all these years, it still does not have a good model for interlaced sources (Protheus v4 is unusable, it has automatic face detection and it SUCKS). Deinterlacing before feeding to Topaz often leads to less than desirable results too.
