Hi. I’ve just installed version 4 and did a couple of passes to some old videos, just to test. In both cases, I found the processed file and a duplicate of it, with the _temp word in the name. Is that a bug? . Thanks
I found in the v3 series, the temp files only got deleted if you closed the input file from within Video AI.
I didn’t pay attention, but it could be. I’m pretty sure that these temp files must go away. Thanks.
Actually they don’t go away here, with Mac OS 12.7 and Topaz 4.
I’m on macOS Ventura 13.6
Same thing happens with my version (4.04) and all previous versions. Wondering if there is some setting I can untick? It’s annoying as hell
Hello. When I run a video file through Topaz VideoAi I always get two files ceated of identical size. Attached below is an example. What is this “temp” file? What am I to do with it? When I copy the non-temp file to a different drive it seems to play my Topaz processed video just fine. Am I to delete the “temp” file? Most importantly I’d love it if someone could explain to me why that “temp” file is created. There must be some reason. What role does it play? What are we to do with it? (In the example below I have two 72GB files created, so at the very least the “temp” file is taking up a lot os space on the drive.
Thanks.
John
I noticed this too. You are not alone. No idea why, but I always just manually delete the one with TEMP in the title.
Also I noticed that cut and pasting settings between videos doesn’t work either.
Hi Guys!
I am running Topaz 4 atm.
And i found this temp folder with 40 gb circa.
Can i delete the inside or is the models also in there? I dont want to delete the current model setup.
Thanks for any advice!
If you are on Windows, the models are located at: C:\ProgramData\Topaz Labs LLC\Topaz Video AI\models
