Here is the culprit:
The behavior of “Export As…” has been changed. With earlier versions, batch export was possible with “Export As…” activated, which was not bad. That’s now gone. Doesn’t make much sense, from my point of view, in particular, because, as soon as more than one item is selected, there’s no chance to alter the export mode, because there’s no drop down menu on the button, i.e. people are forced to switch the export mode before making the selection.
