Topaz Video after installing updates doesn't work at all

After installing the updates, the app is totally not working, including be not able to just play the video I uploaded. Videos I already used to (I wanted to try the new features) elaborate in the past.

The errors reported are so generic like “Failed” in case of trying to just play the video (not elaborate it).

Can you send the logs to the support team for review? help@topazlabs.com

To gather logs, please select Help > Logging > Get Logs for Support and attach the zip file to your reply.

Here is a video to help with the steps of how to collect the logs.

Thanks a lot Kyle.

Attached the log file.

Waiting for your analysis.

Thanks, Igor.

First, the GPU driver is very out of date here for the latest release, and it needs to be updated to a more current Studio Driver version from the NVIDIA drivers update page.

Second, since you are working with a card that has 8 GB of VRAM, I would recommend only applying one or two models to your file at a time to limit the possibility of an error or crash with the app. The AI models are heavy and can very quickly overpower the system.

Let me know if that helps with the main issues you are seeing.

Thanks.

After having updated NVIDIA drivers it seems working correctly. I will launch a trial immediately.

Could you please clarify what do you mean with " I would recommend only applying one or two models …"?

Does it mean that when I apply “Proteus” to upgrade to FHD + “stabilization” + “denoising” I’m using three models (this is what I usually do)?

Igor

Glad to hear the driver update has helped.

Yes, if you are running Proteus, Stabilization and the Denoise filter that is three models being applied in one pass.

You could run it like this if you are seeing issues.

1st pass - stabilization
2nd pass - denoising
3rd pass - Proteus for upscale and final clean up.
