Yep, itās just H2, alone! It seems to be stable, but Iāll test it more, as the brightness of that episode is fairly even across the scenes.

Iāve tried all those plus AVI and still didnāt make any difference. Thank you for the suggestion though.
Though, I have to admit, I ran Hyperion 2 by pure luck, because now the neuroserver is only eating up RAM, to the point of running out of it, taking one CPU thread to 100% and not starting the export. 
I remember that the process was initializing way faster, then taking up to 20GB of RAM with āa blunt spikeā, then lowering it, and, rinse and repeat, which was consistent with the processing.
It might have something to do with the A KIND OF MAGIC ā Memory Gaps (S01E01) Full Episode in HD.mkv filename though. Fixing that in the output window didnāt help though.
Yellow spikes are the read I/O operations.
+1 to this. If they can fix this issue, this model will be almost perfect. Get rid of weird shading on the face and also the creation of pimples or moles because it sees a spec in the video and thinks it is part of the face.

I would hope future enhancements include speed upgrades!
Since CLI is no longer supported, Iām using GUI for rendering. However, over and over, getting crashes. This is after going back to 1.4 from 1.5. I cannot get anything from 29.97 to 60fps:

happy for any new feature, but please make the UI better usable. The preset handling is really terrible right now. The grid takes too much space and should be switchable to a simple list. But most important: You still can not change existing preset without creating a new one with a new name, deleting the old one, and then renaming the new one again. Simply add an option to update the current selected preset to the parameters being set at this moment. This would save so much time.

This would be great. You could have a āUpdate Preset with Current Settingsā button or something similar.

The UI is absolute rubbish, to put it politely.
I discovered by accident that there IS a round-about way to update a preset. You need to set that preset as the default in the settings. Then when you load a new source, youāll see the icon with 2 circles in the tab. Only when itās in that state, you can then right click to access the drop-down menu to update the preset.
But be aware that if and when you update that preset, the default preset will revert to āNoneā. I have just raised that as a bug:

still seems to have the memory leak issue only with starlight Precise 2.5 but a new issue I started having with this update was topaz refusing to close i had to force quit in task manager to get it to finally close.
This happens to me as well whenever try to upscale source to resolution higher than 1080. If below or equal 1080, no problem.

not happy with this update. still using 1.2.1.
I tried upscaling multiple mkv files to prores proxy MOV files , with the simple HDR enhancement, and a 4k model like proteusā¦ with 1.21 it never crashes but with everthing after 1.21 it seems to crash after an hour or maybe 30 min, sometimes right at the end. Its silly. And i installed ALL the in between versions. HDR 2, or hyperion doesnāt work it just loads and loads and loads ..
Ive noticed this with the newer releases. I think they should abandon this program and simply create a new software package.. like Emerald.. or something 1.0
It would be cheaper to add a QA department.
For me, this happens when source files are located on a network drive, but not a local drive. Topaz is aware of this.
