Just IMO I’m not sure how accurate the Starlight Mini results really is…because during actual upscaling I’m typically at around 0.8-1.6FPS depending on resolution…I feel like this result is far worse at least on the benchmark (given that I’m on a 5090 build).
Do you usually run Starlight mini on 1920 by 1080 videos at 1X? I imagine that doing any smaller source even at 2X or 3X might be faster than this benchmark.
Generally, I run Starlight Mini at whatever the Topaz Video program defaults it to for 1x (seems to be inconsistent resolutions - which is why I put the range there in my post) depending on the video being upscaled.

Hmm, the Starlight mini benchmark seems flawed - showing similar speeds for 720p and FullHD

Yes, sure. But in real life Starlight mini is really quite a lot slower for FHD sources than for HD (or even SD) ones.
So, getting nearly the same number on the same system for those two different resolutions seems wrong.

Update: Dropping below the 1280 x 720 resolution size will have the app rescale it to 1280 x 720 for benchmark test purposes with Starlight Mini.
