Topaz Studio too slow to use!

I have Topaz Studio with plugins, including Clear, B&W and Impression. Topaz Studio has essentially stopped working, is glitchy, and will only shut down using Task Manager. Initially the program worked fine. I’ve asked for support twice with no reply from Topaz Labs. I’ve asked for my money back on the plugins, still no reply. Anybody else having problems? I’ve uninstalled and re-installed Topaz Studio but it’s still not working properly. It’s not my computer as it’s been upgraded to the max and other editing programes work fine.

So what are your computer specifications, and what is the GPU and dedicated vRAM.

Also please go to Help-> Graphics info and press the copy button and paste the info here.

Windows 10, desktop, 8 GB RAM, Processor: Intel (r) core ™ i5-3470 @
3.20 GHZ 3.2 GHZ and 64 bit.
When I first used Topaz Studio on this computer it worked fine…

Please confirm what GPU(s) you have, including dedicated vRAM … and post what you copied from the Help-> Graphics info dialog.

If you use dxdiag save the output to a text file bottom rh button and upload it here. You still haven’t given any info about your GPU(s) using the method given.

This is really important to be able to see if you have set up studio currently.

Still don’t have your GPU details, run Help - Graphics Infor from the Studio help menu, if you don’t save the dxdiag as a TXT file and upload it it is still on that first page.

GPU is: Intel (R) HD Graphics 2500

I have a feeling it’s not adequate. However, can’t understand why it ran
Topaz Studio really well, and then suddenly gave up the ghost.

Unless you have a second GPU such as a AMD or NVIDIA it will not run on a HD2500 as you can see from these specifications …

Gigabyte nVidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti OC 4GB Low Profile PCIe Video Card 8K @ 60Hz DP 2xHDMI DVI 4xDisplays 1442/1417 MHz ~GV-N105TOC-4GD

I will be installing the above GPU soon, which I hope sorts out the slowness problem. As I’ve said before Topaz Studio worked fine initially on my current computer configuration and then slowed to a stop for some reason. Re-installed TS but it was still slow.
Thank you for your support emails and refund. Hopefully I can continue to use Topaz Studio once the new GPU is installed, as I’am a fan of the programme. Your assistance was much appreciated.
regards, David Cleverley.

I have the same problem. Worked like lightning to begin with, now while it’s applying looks & exporting, I have plenty of time to wander off & do other things. Studio2 is the only program that I have this issue with, so it’s obviously not my computer. I’m not a computer guru, so everything I’m reading on here is like reading Latin, so I have no idea what to do.
