Hi - The mouse wheel is used to control the preview zoom level. Though, we’ve already added the keyboard bracket keys as shortcuts to increase/decrease the brush size. They’re also available in the Edit menu.

Hi, maybe I have missed as I asked last year for an option that allows you choose where you want the finished to be sent by AP. I use Faststone viewer to send images to AP but always sends back FSV yet if I open an image from windows explorer it asks where I want the image to be sent
Suggestion, after processing the image for preview, when panning around the image, the image should not have to be ‘re-processed’ to preview other areas of the image, but currently this is the way the software operates - every time you move the selection area the entire image is re-processed - very inefficient and wasting untold watts of processing power (and time). Things could be a lot more efficient and ‘greener’ if the application only has to process the image once to preview regardless of how many times you pan around the preview area.
Reprocessing during preview should only occur if you change the image settings!

Edit: if only the selected area of the preview is actually processed and not the entire image, then the current functionality makes more sense. If this is the case, feel free to ignore my suggestion.

Hey everyone, we’ve just released a hotfix for the non-english character saving issue. If you’ve had this issue on Windows then try updating to 1.2.6 which should resolve the issue. This information is now in the initial post but I’m adding it here as well:

agree, having to reprocess the image every time you zoom is a waste of time and processing power.

As per Adam new sharpen model (Beta) will be coming on Monday 13.
I agree as well but it might be even worse if the entire image is processed in advance of the scrolling. Spend the waiting time up front in one shot or spend it later bit by bit!

How about being able to decide whether the image is processed in one piece in advance or in small pieces as you scroll?
Free tilting/turning of the crop-rectangle (not only 90 deg.) would be nice. Is that in pipeline ?

Drag and drop image not working since v1.2.6 upgrade.
Have I missed conversations about deep shadows from ETTL images? I asked about it with version 1.2.4 in relation to un tone mapped HDRs from my phone. But with my Olympus, I regularly ETTL to protect highlights. I prefer a raw workflow, but with underexposed images, I can’t use PAI. I have to create a properly exposed tiff first. Not the end of the world, but the detail extraction (or recreation of it while uprezzing), noise reduction and uprezzing itself aren’t as good from a tiff as working from the original raw file in PAI.
