Topaz does not use proper resolutions for batch export with different resolutions

I’m fairly certain this worked in previous versions, but not anymore in 1.0.4.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Import multiple sources
  • Set each source to have a different export resolution
  • Batch export by going to Sources → Select all → hit the quick export button

Expected behavior:

Each export will use the settings that were assigned to it

Actual behavior:

All exports will use the settings (locked to height) from the first video of the set

Workaround:

Export one video at a time

The batch processing will apply the same settings to all of the videos selected. There is not an option to select multiple videos that already have different settings applied and then bulk send them to the export queue to start processing them.

You will need to send them individually after setting their options, or sending those that have the same models and settings at the same time.

I see… So, the reason I’ve been doing it this way is because I will import a batch of videos, and preview them one at a time to tweak their settings. Then I want to batch export them. The reason I do it in this order, instead of preview→export→preview next→export→… is because the preview won’t run while an export is running, it will wait in the queue behind the export that started. I’ve tried to use the beta Frame Preview feature, but it seems to not work at all (it just shows the unaltered input frame all the time). Therefore, the process of having to go back and click into 20 videos again to export them one at a time is rather tedious. It would actually be ideal if I could do the preview→export→preview→export flow without having to wait on the previous export before the next preview would generate.
