When Photo AI v 1.3.8 processes images it creates a file with the extension .dng_exiftool_tmp which I assume is meant to be automatically deleted but sometimes it doesn’t and I have to delete it manually. When this does happen then any files not yet in my catalogue do not appear. My work around is to go back to the original RAW files and copy and paste them in Photo AI and the missing files suddenly appear in my catalogue. I Use ACDSee as my catalogue and process in Luminar Neo. I usually take three shots at one stop intervals and create an HDR image in Luminar from the DNG files created by PhotoAI.
Yes the TMP files are supposed to delete automatically. If they are not deleting, then it’s likely that something on your computer is blocking Topaz Photo AI from deleting the file.
Are you using Mac or Windows? If you are on Mac, can you try giving Topaz Photo AI Full Disk Access in your system settings?
….try giving Topaz Photo AI Full Disk Access in your system settings. Please advise how to do this. I cannot find in System Preferences.

It should be in your Mac > System Preferences > Privacy & Security > Privacy > Full Disk Access.
You will see Topaz Photo AI in there.
Thank you I have allowed full disc access to Topaz Photo AI. If the problem persists I will get back to you. Thank you for your help.
