Swallowtail butterfly

A common swallowtail butterfly that doesn’t like to pose in front of the camera – it either flies away or at least folds its wings and turns awkwardly towards the camera. This time I was lucky, and it was sitting on a nice thistle. Photographed with a regular Sony compact, then inserted into Gigapixel, cropped, using Recover v. 2, Pre-downscaling Medium, Detail 100, Upscale 4x. Then ACDSee Photostudio Pro 2025, slightly reducing the exposure time (it was very sunny, which led to faded colors). I especially appreciate the view of the butterfly from the front (en face), I haven’t managed to do that yet; it was flapping one wing for balance, so it’s blurry. Well, nothing special, but I’m satisfied. In both cases, Recover v. 2 worked well for me here.
