If I am logged into TVAI, then open a command line for a process, I know I can close the GUI. But is there any chance I might become logged out then while the ffmpeg process is running? I am trying to avoid getting a watermark mid-processing. 
It will never happen mid-process. Only if you start another one after being logged out.
I cannot speak for right now, but earlier this year, it was staying logged in for at least three months at a time.
